# Goosetalk

> Goosetalk is a Dutch opinion platform where daily AI-generated polls, quizzes and rankings appear on diverse topics. Users vote, share their opinion, and see in real time what others think.

## What is Goosetalk?

Goosetalk publishes daily polls in five formats:
- **Opinie** — opinion statements (agree/disagree or multiple choice)
- **Quiz** — trivia questions with one correct answer
- **Dilemma** — forced-choice between two options
- **Rangschikking** — rank items in order of preference (correct order revealed after voting)
- **Toplijst** — community ranking lists (e.g. "Best Netflix series") where the final order is determined by aggregated user votes

Polls cover categories: Politiek, Sport, Lifestyle, Technologie, Maatschappij, Entertainment, Wetenschap, Geld, Relaties, Ethiek, Cultuur.

Available in Dutch (`/nl`), English (`/uk`) and German (`/de`).

## Users

- Anonymous voting via session cookie — no account required
- Registered users earn **honks** (points) for voting, creating polls and answering quizzes correctly
- Users build a profile with avatar, honk score, level and badges
- Users can follow other users and receive a daily digest email
- Users can create public polls, private friend quizzes, or poll series (reeksen)

## Content policy

- All polls are either AI-generated (daily cron) or user-created
- User-created public polls and series are moderated before appearing publicly
- No personally identifiable data is stored for anonymous votes
