Put the items in your preferred order.

The Tudor Era
Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, and enough political intrigue to make your head spin β sometimes literally. It was a golden age of exploration and culture, as long as you stayed on the right side of the monarch.

The Victorian Age
Britain was the workshop of the world, churning out railways, steam engines, and Charles Dickens novels at an impressive rate. Just mind the smog and try not to think too hard about the wealth gap.

The Swinging Sixties
London was the coolest city on the planet, the Beatles were soundtracking everything, and the whole country felt like it was waking up. A genuinely thrilling decade to have been young and British.

The Medieval Period
If you fancy jousting tournaments, grand cathedral builds, and the occasional peasants' revolt, medieval England had it all. Just avoid the Black Death and you might have a lovely time.

World War II Home Front
It was undeniably tough, but the sense of community and collective purpose during the war years is something people still talk about with deep pride. Plus, everyone had an Anderson shelter and a brilliant story to tell.
