Which instrument do you most wish you'd learned to play?
Nearly everyone has one they meant to pick up and never did. Put these five in your own order, from the one you'd love most to the one you'd leave in the corner.

The piano
There's something lovely about someone just sitting down and playing at a party. Even Chopsticks gets a round of applause after a few sherries.
B
The acoustic guitar
Perfect for the back garden on a summer evening or round a campfire. You'd only need about five songs to keep everyone happy.
C
The drums
Nothing beats bashing away after a long day at work. Just don't expect a Christmas card from next door.
D
The violin
It takes years, and the first few sound like a cat in a wheelie bin. But get there and it's the most moving sound going.
E
The saxophone
One smoky note and you're in a jazz club in the eighties. It also fits nicely in the boot, unlike the piano.
