Which old British coin or note do you miss the most?

Retired in 2017 for the fancy 12-sided version, the round pound coin had a satisfying weight in your palm. Perfect for shopping trolleys and pub jukeboxes.

The Paper Β£5 Note
Before plastic took over, fivers were proper paper β soft, foldable, and forever ending up in the laundry. Somehow they felt more like real money.

Ten shillings of pure 1960s charm, this little brown note was the proper birthday card filler from your nan. Replaced by the 50p in 1970.
