Which old-fashioned way of keeping in touch do you miss the most?
Before mobiles and group chats, we had phone boxes, letters and answering machine tapes. Rank them from the one you miss most to the one you miss least.

The red phone box
You'd feed in your coins and talk fast before the pips went. Half the street knew your business by teatime.

A proper handwritten letter
Pages of news in someone's own handwriting, folded into an envelope. You could tell who it was from before you opened it.

The holiday postcard
Bought on the front, posted on day two, arrived a week after you got home. Still ended up on the fridge for years.

The telegram
A few words that could mean a wedding, a birth or the worst news of your life. Nobody sent one for nothing.

The answering machine tape
That little click and whirr, then a familiar voice filling the hallway. Some people kept the tape for years.
