Which sneaky bit of everyday science winds you up the most?
Science isn't just for labs and telly boffins β it gets you at the car door and in the bathroom mirror. Put these little daily annoyances in order, worst first.

The static shock off the car door
You get out, touch the door and yelp like you've been bitten. Then you spend the rest of the day poking things with your elbow.

Glasses steaming up indoors
You come in from the cold and instantly can't see a thing. Cue the shirt-hem wipe and a lovely smeary finish.

The bathroom mirror after a shower
You wipe it, it fogs again in ten seconds. By the time it clears you're already dressed.

Hair standing up from a jumper
Off comes the fleece and up goes every hair on your head. Very fetching just before you answer the door.

Condensation running down the windows
You wake up and the glass is soaking wet, with a puddle on the sill. Where does it all even come from?
