Which sports theme tune on the telly is the best of the lot?

That brassy opening has been getting folks off the sofa since 1970. For loads of us it's the sound of the weekend winding down.

The one that meant the whole day was mapped out, come rain or shine. You can still hum it, admit it.

Nobody in the house had ever been skiing, yet we all sat glued to it. That theme is pure Sunday teatime.

Light, breezy and it somehow makes the sun come out. Two weeks of grass courts and a nice sit down.

That cheerful little tune meant arguing over the picture board with your dad. Pure Friday night comfort.
