Be honest: which pet is more hassle than it's worth?
We love them to bits, but some pets take more than they give. No judgement here β just put them in order.

The cat who ignores you
You feed it, you clean the litter tray, you buy the posh pouches. It sits on the neighbour's wall and pretends it's never met you.

The dog who needs walking in the rain
Best friend in the world, until it's dark, wet and freezing and those eyes are staring at the lead. Then there's the muddy paws on the carpet.

The rabbit nobody cuddles
It was going to be their responsibility, remember? Now you're out there every Saturday with a brush and a bag of hay.

The fish tank
Lovely and calming when it's clean. Less calming when the filter packs in and the water goes green on a Sunday night.

The hamster on the wheel at 3am
Asleep all day, party animal all night, and it bites the one time you try to pick it up. And it escapes behind the washing machine.
