We all have that one tin we grab when the fridge is bare and everyone's hungry. Rank them from lifesaver to last resort.
Put the items in your preferred order.

Baked beans
The tin that turns two slices of bread into a proper tea. Cheap, warm and never once let you down.

Chopped tomatoes
Onion, garlic, a tin of chopped tomatoes and dinner is sorted. Sunday bolognese would be lost without it.

Tuna
Drain it, mix it with mayo and sweetcorn and you've got lunch. Or tip it in a pasta bake and call it cooking.

Sweetcorn
A quick drain and it goes with fish fingers, chilli, jacket spuds, the lot. Always a tin lurking at the back.

Rice pudding
Warmed in a pan with a blob of jam on top, just like your nan did it. Comfort in a bowl for pennies.
